“Do I Really Need a Storm Shelter in Louisville?”
Jefferson County took two confirmed tornadoes inside five days in the spring of 2025. An EF1 hit Fairdale on March 30, and on April 3 an EF3 with 145 mph winds cut nearly ten miles across Jeffersontown and Middletown.
